Jonathan was inspired to start Trualta while investing in healthcare education at a private equity fund. Prior to that, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. He loves to hustle alongside innovative client partners to support families and deliver results. When not working, you can find him traveling with his wife, cruising on his snowboard, or frustrated on the golf course.

A healthcare technology leader, Shahzad enjoys building high performing products and teams. Shahzad has over 18 years of experience, and in previous roles has led the scaling and maturity of platforms. He’s passionate about helping people succeed, especially when it comes to healthcare outcomes. Outside of work, Shahzad can be found coaching his kids soccer team or exploring new destinations.

As Chief Financial Officer, Tommy enjoys leveraging data to provide insights that help fuel Trualta's growth. He started his career as a consultant with PwC, and more recently has experience investing in and operating education technology companies. Outside of work he enjoys chasing his daughters (both under three) and dog around the house, watching Kansas City sports teams, and water skiing.

As Vice President of Revenue, Leda loves partnering with innovative care organizations. Leda became passionate about supporting family caregivers when her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, leading her to found a caregiver-focused technology discovery company in 2016. Most recently, Leda worked in eLearning sales at LinkedIn, making Trualta a perfect blend of her past experiences and passions. Outside of work, she loves skiing, pilates, and making wood fired pizzas!

James is a product leader with a diverse background spanning science, sales, finance, operations, and startups before finding his home in product. With experience in digital health, biotech, and venture capital, he applies a user-centered, continuous discovery approach to uncovering and solving the right problems. He holds a BSc and an MBA and values listening over speaking, data over assumptions, and collaboration over silos—empowering teams to build impactful products.

Mariana is a full stack developer passionate about performance and good practices. At Trualta, she wants to bring together the best in technology and healthcare in order to improve other people's lives. She loves running, snowboarding, and meditating.

Mijal is Director of Learning, overseeing content production from start to finish. She leads a team of learning designers and content developers, collaborating to create actionable and relevant resources for caregivers. With a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and previous clinical experience, Mijal brings a comprehensive understanding of healthcare to her role. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from Queen's University. When she’s not working, you can find Mijal with a cup of green tea in hand or out for a run (just not at the same time!).

Taylor is an industrial design student with a passion for health and wellness. By integrating her previous degree in Kinesiology and her knowledge in design, she hopes to bring positive social change through design. As an intern at Trualta, she looks forward to collaborating with the product development team and seeing the positive impact that design and technology can make. When she’s not designing, you’ll find her trying out new recipes, going for a run, or hiking with her dog.

Laura brings over 15 years of human services and strategy consulting experience to Trualta, most recently leading Complex Care strategy for a national Managed Care Organization. Outside of building her own consulting firm, Impact 120, she loves cheering for Duke basketball with her husband and two children.

Steph is a User Experience and User Interface Designer. She’s passionate about the intersection between design, technology, and social impact. At Trualta she collaborates with the product development team and her job is to create enjoyable and meaningful experiences for the end-user. She loves post-its, collects McDonald's coffee cards, and thinks there’s always room for one more plant.

Monique works on the Content & Research team at Trualta as a Care Educator. She has experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as personal caregiving for her parents. She is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of caregivers through both education and support. Outside of work, she can be found at the gym or with her dog and four cats!

Jose is a web developer who likes to build scalable web applications. Enjoys using his skills to contribute to the exciting advances that happen every day at Trualta. He is a lifelong learner and loves to watch shows (in every single streaming service), hiking and loves trying new specialty coffees in his beloved french press.

Madison works on the Content & Research team at Trualta, and is always advocating for the delivery of clear and actionable health information. She is also a registered occupational therapist working in primary care. Madison’s day always starts and ends by walking 10 000 steps with her dog Goose!

Beatrice Georges-Lemire: Beatrice is a passionate front-end developer who thrives on building accessible technology that helps improve people's lives. When she's not learning new things about coding and tech, you can find her cuddling her pets, hiking, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or having a picnic by the river.

Lily is an energetic and purpose-driven People Manager at Trualta. With a passion for people and culture, Lily is dedicated to crafting engaging experiences for all of our employees.

Prior to joining Trualta, Lily gained a decade of experience in Human Resources and People & Culture initiatives. Her professional experiences have spanned across companies ranging from intimate teams of 10, to expansive organizations of 10,000 employees.

When she's not at work, you can find Lily outside with her family. She loves working in her garden, reading, or creating something new!

Albert is a seasoned Project Manager with almost two decades of experience leading strategic initiatives and implementation projects across healthcare, research, and academia. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After his military service, he received a BA from Eastern Michigan University, and then his MBA from Michigan State University. As a Certified Project Director (CPD), recognized by the Institute of Project Management, Albert is a strong communicator with a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and scope. During his downtime, Albert finds solace in the great outdoors, often spending quality time with his family hiking, exploring new landscapes, and anything else that produces an adrenaline rush.

Archy is a detail-oriented data analyst who thrives on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business growth. With a background in statistical analysis and data visualization, Archy is passionate about helping Trualta harness the power of data to improve the lives of caregivers and their loved ones. Archy holds two MS degrees, one in Analytics and the other in Integrated Marketing. When not immersed in data, Archy can be found biking, cooking, or exploring restaurants.

Chris is a high-growth start-up specialist working on our Growth Team. He is passionate about innovation and social entrepreneurship. Chris enjoys helping those in need and drives our growth across the frontlines of aging care. When he’s not at Trualta you can find him mountain biking, skiing, or reading.

Sue serves as one of our AAA Relationship Managers. Working in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years, she is passionate to help make a difference and deliver Trualta’s innovative health solutions to clients across the country. In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time with family and exploring new places when possible. She likes to hike, bike, and has recently discovered a love for paddle boarding.

Alex is a frontend developer who's passionate about using technology to improve people's lives. When he's not helping to implement new features or designs at Trualta he loves to ride his bike, explore interesting places all around the world and keep up with the latest tech.

Nikki works on the content and research team as the lifecycle manager and has a passion for crafting meaningful user journeys through email, SMS, and other channels. She utilizes her content, product, and marketing expertise to deliver personalized, value-driven experiences for caregivers, embodying thoughtfulness and yielding remarkable results. Outside of Trualta, Nikki enjoys gardening, participating in triathlons, and wearing her cowboy boots to country concerts.

Andreea works on the Content & Research team at Trualta. She studied occupational therapy and is committed to ensuring that caregivers have the tools they need to take care of themselves and their care recipients. She is also committed to ensuring that her kitten, Smoki, doesn’t knock the TV down when he’s zooming around the house!

Shreeti is the operations coordinator at Trualta. She prides on being organized and has an eye for details. She is great at time management, prioritization, and multitasking. In her free time, you can find her reading a book, walking, or building Legos with her toddler.

Jeff is a senior software engineer who enjoys designing and building APIs and databases. In addition to web development, you can find him tinkering with microcontrollers and exploring related technologies such as IoT architecture. Jeff also enjoys hiking, going to the beach, museums and concerts, and is an avid music collector.

Jacquelle is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is a certified nursing aide, with a bachelor's degree in public health, and a master’s in education. Jacquelle finds deep satisfaction in educating others about caregiving because she believes in the profound impact that knowledgeable, compassionate care can have on individuals’ lives. She is driven by the opportunity to share her expertise and see caregivers grow in confidence and skill, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided.

Leveraging her extensive engagement marketing experience, Nicole partners with organizations to create impactful engagement strategies. Her approach incorporates an understanding of the organization's ecosystem, success metrics and populations.

She holds a Bachelor's in Business/Marketing and a Master's in Organizational Leadership.

When she's not crafting innovative ways to connect with caregivers, Nicole enjoys adventuring with her husband and children, cheering on her daughters at their activities, or channeling her creativity into home DIY and decor projects.

I began my career in the healthcare industry over a decade ago, working closely with hospice patients and their families to ensure they received the appropriate level of care at each stage of their journey. Through this work, I developed a deep passion for advocating for education and support for those seeking or needing care. I have since created and led programs focused on empowering both patients and caregivers through accessible, meaningful education. Most recently, I served as the Operating Director for an in-home care organization, where I saw firsthand the growing demand for Trualta’s solutions in my daily conversations with families navigating complex care needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, who keep me active with their sports and activities. I also love music and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.

Ryan has a passion for supporting family caregivers through healthcare innovation and technology after personal experiences of caregiving for family members. He has a range of experience of partnering with payers and digital health companies to improve patient outcomes and efficiency. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time on the golf course and at the lakehouse with friends and family.

Leveraging her extensive experience working closely with clients, Sarah is dedicated to building strong relationships and exceeding expectations. She approaches each project with a genuine curiosity to understand the underlying challenges her clients aim to solve, driven by a passion to help them achieve true success.
Outside of her professional life, Sarah calls the Pacific Northwest home. When the weather permits, she enjoys golfing, weight training, walking her dog, and spending quality time with her husband as they embrace their new chapter as empty nesters, with their daughter now attending college.
